Kiran Rao joined Vicente Capital Partners in 2009.

Prior to joining Vicente Capital, Kiran was an Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions group of BMO Capital Markets, the investment banking arm of the Bank of Montreal. At BMO, Kiran worked closely with senior bankers to contribute to all phases of buyside and sellside middle market M&A origination and execution, successfully working on and executing several transactions in the agriculture, distribution, retail and transportation sectors.

Kiran began his career with Morgan Stanley as a Summer Analyst in their Financial Control Group.

Kiran graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, with honors, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
